In the photo you can see the beggining of the LED upgrade project. In the foreground are the 325 Watt 6-lamp T5 High Bay Fixtures being replaced. In the back are the new 160 Watt LED High Bays – much better lighting, at half the energy usage. Note how much brighter the area is. The feedback from Orbital ATK’s management is that the morale and productivity are SIGNIFICANTLY increased. Product Inspection is improved. Illumination at the work area increased from 18 Footcandles to 60 Footcandles!
These new fixtures are awesome, and will last for 100,000 hours.
